Statement Property Group is a senior-led, RICS Regulated commercial property consultancy. Founded in Sherborne, working across the UK.
Our story
We established Statement Property Group in 2014, based on our experiences as employees working across multiple private and public sector businesses across a multitude of property types, often commissioning external advice and services. Working client-side teaches you what good looks like: advice that adds value, serves the client's interest, and ultimately enables clear decisions to be made and assets properly looked after.
Commercial property advice with PURPOSE. Helping clients make clear, confident property decisions that create VALUE through practical action and build TRUST through the way we deliver.
Purpose
Bringing clarity and intent to every property decision.
Value
Creating measurable value through practical, commercial action.
Trust
Building lasting trust through the way we deliver.
In my role as the Corporate Director of Commercial Services I used the services of Statement Property over a 3 year period at Runnymede BC. The lead consultant, David Goodwin provided highly competent commercial asset and estate management services to the Council. But a key differentiator was the ability to think laterally and strategically to secure optimum commercial return from commercial projects, properties and opportunities. I have no hesitation is recommending Statement Property for the management of commercial property assets, facilities management and to undertake commercial projects for investors, local authorities, etc.

FAIR - Fairness Accessibility Inclusion Resilience
Social values gets written into a lot of bids and glossy documents and then forgotten. Ours has a name against it. We have a FAIR Lead who tests what we produce against four standards — Fairness, Accessibility, Inclusion, Resilience — and reports on it, rather than leaving it as a policy nobody reads.
Fairness
We support clients in making fair, transparent and proportionate property, procurement and service-delivery decisions. We identify barriers, recognise differing needs and provide clear, evidence-based advice to support equitable outcomes.
Accessibility
Accessibility is about much more than providing a ramp for wheelchair users. Our FAIR Lead has lived experience of disability, helping us identify barriers that are not always obvious and ensuring different perspectives are considered from the outset. Someone’s access needs might relate to mobility, sensory needs, communication, pain or energy levels and may fluctuate day to day. We promote practical, user-focused approaches to physical, sensory and cognitive accessibility across our workplace, our clients’ properties, the buildings we advise on and the public spaces with which we engage.
Inclusion
We focus on what makes a genuine difference to people in day-to-day life. We ensure relevant perspectives, expertise and lived experience inform property decisions from the outset, helping clients create inclusive spaces, services and outcomes that respond to the people who use them. This applies to our own approach too: we build the team the job requires, not the team we happen to employ.
Resilience
We help clients future-proof their property strategies by anticipating regulatory, environmental and operational change. Our practical, evidence-based advice supports adaptable buildings, resilient investment decisions and long-term value in a changing climate.
