Modern Slavery Statement

Our commitment

Statement Property Group Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms, both within our own business and across our supply chains. We have zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking.

This statement is published on a voluntary basis. Our annual turnover is below the £36 million threshold at which a statement is required under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, but we believe every business should take a clear position and act on it.

Our business

Statement Property Group Ltd provides property and estate management, consultancy and advisory services to public and private sector clients across the UK. We operate on a remote-first basis with a small, directly employed team.

Our supply chains

Our supply chains include facilities management contractors, maintenance and capital-works trades, professional service providers, IT and equipment suppliers, and the wider contractor base engaged on the estates we manage. We recognise that construction, maintenance, cleaning and facilities services can carry a higher risk of labour exploitation, so this is where we focus our attention.

The steps we take

  • We know our direct team personally and verify that everyone we employ has the right to work in the UK and is paid at or above the Real Living Wage.
  • We expect every contractor and supplier we engage to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to treat their own workforce lawfully and fairly.
  • We favour established, reputable suppliers and will not knowingly work with any business found to be using forced labour, child labour or human trafficking.
  • Where we manage estates on behalf of clients, we encourage transparency from the contractors working on site and will raise any concern with the client and the relevant authorities.
  • We review this statement each year and will strengthen our due diligence as the business grows, particularly if we approach the turnover threshold at which a statement becomes a legal requirement.
