Founder and CEO

Dave leads Statement with a focus on clarity, momentum, and long-term value. His background spans public, private, and voluntary sectors, including education, local government, regeneration, and enterprise support. Early roles as a university lifeguard and door supervisor shaped his calm, caring and solutions-focused leadership style. He guides the Group's growth across property, consultancy, and innovation, emphasising structured service offers and trusted client relationships.

Sarah Goodwin

FAIR Lead

Sarah embeds the principles of Fairness, Accessibility, Inclusion, and Resilience across all areas of the Group's work. With over a decade in emergency services, including frontline 999 call handler experience, she brings practical understanding of systems under pressure. With personal disability experience, she ensures underrepresented perspectives inform service design and delivery.

Emma Young

Business Operations Manager

Emma leads SPG's business operations, keeping client instructions, bids and delivery running smoothly. She is the first point of contact for many of our clients and coordinates the systems and processes behind the Group's growth. Emma has experience in maintaining estates records, managing contractors and overseeing health and safety measures and compliance. Her early career includes over a decade in sales and customer management, where she handled large client portfolios, bringing in an annual turnover of just under £2 million.

Matthew AllansonMRICS

Senior Asset Manager and Consultant

Matthew delivers property and estates solutions across public and private sectors with experience spanning PLCs, local authorities, and specialist consultancies. He combines commercial acumen with rigorous attention to detail and works on portfolio management, asset strategies, and estate optimisation. Known for a methodical style and sound judgement, he emphasises data-driven decisions supporting performance and accountability.

Peter Hopkins

Associate Director

Pete brings director-level public sector estates leadership to SPG, including his time as Director of Property at Dorset Council. He specialises in mobilisation, asset review and portfolio strategy for complex public estates, and leads on transition and mobilisation planning for major instructions.
